About
mlmmjadm is a graphical application, aimed at making the administration of
mailing lists based on the excellent mlmmj a
breeze. Basically, mlmmjadm wraps around all the functionality that is usually
carried out by means of tools such as ‘touch’, ‘cat’, ‘vi’ and ‘rm’. So, if
you don’t like using command line tools to get the job done, and you do want
easy access to state of the art mailing list software, mlmmjadm is for you.
mlmmjadm is in no way supported or endorsed by the mlmmj developers, in fact
I doubt that they even know it exists. If you encounter bugs in mlmmj or
mlmmjadm when using the latter, chances are mlmmjadm is to blame. Either way,
please let me know if you encounter bugs or misfeatures.
FAQ
Q: Why did you write this in java, instead of C,C++,…?
A: I like java, I know java, java is nice and neat, and java gets the job done.
I actually considered writing mlmmjadm in C++, but my C++ is simply too rusty
to be any fun. I am aware that java isn’t entirely free (as in free speech),
and I basically don’t care.
